Boiler Room

A music broadcaster and club promoter, established in 2010, renowned for live streaming its iconic sets onto Youtube.

The first Boiler Room session was recorded using a webcam duct taped to the wall of a disused boiler room, and the session was broadcast live online on Ustream.

Boiler Room returned to Depot Mayfield as part of The Warehouse Project's 2024 season. This was a significant four-room takeover of the venue, featuring a massive lineup of international and local DJs.

It was a Boiler Room four-room takeover. DJ Heartstring was part of the lineup in the "Depot" room, alongside other artists like Peggy Gou b2b Job Jobse, DJ Gigola, and more. Other rooms featured artists like Jeff Mills, Chlär, and Call Super.

On the side of the Depot main stage, I observed and illustrated DJ Heartstring during their set. The crowd in the foreground was a central part of the scene, with the lights from the stage illuminating the people as they danced. The energy of the crowd and the music created the atmosphere of the event.
