Cash for Kids
Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs.
Each region in the UK coordinates its own fundraising, gift collection, and distribution efforts to support children within their specific communities. In 2023 & 2024, I participated in raising money, producing artwork and volunteering at the Manchester branch.
Mission Christmas
Mission Christmas is a nationwide campaign, meaning it isn't based in one specific location but operates across the UK through various local Cash for Kids branches. These branches are typically associated with local radio stations owned by Bauer Media.
The Mission Christmas 2024 campaign was a great success! It raised a total of £15,420,506 in gifts and cash donations across the UK. This incredible generosity meant that 306,996 disadvantaged children received a gift on Christmas morning.
I created 12 illustrated posters for boys and girls aged 8 and over. This illustration celebrates Manchester's culture and heritage through its most historically famous form of dance - Northern Soul.
Dancing is a true feeling of freedom and expression that allows us to step away from life's troubles. This artwork allows this very ethos to be celebrated by those children less fortunate.
