The Red Bull Soapbox Race is a global event where amateur teams design and race homemade, motorless vehicles down a downhill course.
It's a spectacle of creativity and entertainment, with teams judged not only on their race time but also on the design of their vehicles and their showmanship. The event is known for its fun, quirky atmosphere, attracting large crowds to witness the often-hilarious and imaginative creations.
In 2024, it was hosted at Alexandra Palace, London, UK.
Dance Your Style Auditions
Dance Your Style is one of the biggest dance competitions in the world. I was invited by Red Bull to live illustrate the UK auditions in Manchester at Shockout Academy. Supporting artistic expression and encouraging freedom and creative control. The goal of the auditions is to find the dancer who will represent the UK at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final, hosted in Mumbai, India.
I sat in the far left hand corner and focused on watching each dancers unique style. I wanted to display both a female and a male dancer to replicate what had been advertised in the posters. I also wanted to include a similar colour palette to the branding.
We were joined by a DJ, two presenters. three judges and over 20+ acts.
