Manchester Jazz Festival started in 1996. They support up and coming new talent by celebrating musical innovation, creativity and pushing musical boundaries through the use of their festival events hosted city-wide. In summer 2021, they hosted the festival at the Mayfield Depot. I spent the day moving in and out of the venue, drawing a range of classical and new era jazz artists and quitets.
