I attended a few sessions of numerous Jazz Orchestras when I lived in Edinburgh. It was good to record a range of musical instruments playing together in harmony, compared to an electronical setup such as turntables or vinyls. It also meant that I had more time to record as everyone was seated in singular positions. I felt the bright colours and vibrancy of my illustration gave a clear visual to what the music felt like to listen to. Below is an illustration of the University of Edinburgh's Jazz Orchestra and the Tinderbox Orchestra in rehearsals.
